I tried to visit on Wednesday November 19, and the important word to retain here is tried as I was denied entrance because apparently there are days and hours on which to visit. I have never heard of such a thing, of all the places I've visited throughout travelling, no one ever denied us entering into Hashem's sanctuary. Not allowing another Jew access to a synagogue makes one believe that Hashem does not dwell there. It is also shameful that you use non jews to deny people access, so that you have no remorse in doing so and your conscience is clear. We left frustrated and angered. But in the end, as it is written in the Torah, something may appear bad when in fact it is good, and we may not see it right away, but we did see it afterwards, as you are right next to Central Park Zoo and we were allowed to enter, unlike your abode. You should take example from the animals there sometime, as they do not require a specific time or day for you to see them. They appear to have a greater sense of what appears to be precepts of Judaism, apparently, unlike the semblance of Judaism you propose to others. Going back to Canada and will be advising others not to bother wasting there time there. I would actually have given you zero stars but fortunately for you it is not possible.
Here is my visit to Temple Emanu-El in New York City
Temple Emanu-El is a beautiful temple that is a flagship for Reform Judaism in the United States. The temple is located on Fifth Avenue and 65th Street in New York City. The temple is known for its grand architecture and warm community. The temple is open to the public during certain hours, and it offers guided tours. The temple also has a museum, the Bernard Museum of Judaica, which is open Sunday through Thursday. The temple hosts many events and services throughout the year, and it is a place of comfort and solace for many people. The temple has a long history, and it has been a place of worship for many people for over 175 years.

Denied by our own people it’s ridiculous. The website says it’s open until five. I’m sure it’s amazing but the fact that it says open until 5 and we got her at 4 is very frustrating.

If you enjoy visiting and learning about the many architectural gems of New York City, the Temple should definitely be on your list. This tour was through the New York Adventure Club and was definitely work it.
Check with the temple to see when it is open to the general public.

Besides their programs being overpriced, their security has no sensibility to marginalized folks on how they profile guests. I was denied access to the wheelchair accessible bathroom, several times, and laughed by security guards / staff for my needs. It’s a temple that serves the interests of the white & wealthy, and they don’t care that you’re Jewish, as long as you’re a paying member.
