Of course I was there for a memorial, so it wasn't exactly a ratable experience. That said, the building is impressive, with all of the artwork, historical memorabilia. The main chapel is simply breathtaking.

Beautiful, historic main building with contemporary addition. Large, free parking lot with accessible entrance. Sadly, security needed at all times but are professional and respectful.

Reform congregation is socially active and welcoming of all.

Beautiful and historic, the people were very warm and inviting. A modern reform Friday night service. The clergy showed great knowledge and familiarity with many of the congregants.

I was bar mitzvah there over fifty years ago so I had memories there. It is a beautiful amazing synagogue. The rabbi was great, not conservative but seriously more profound by his output. I would recommend it.

Great free on site parking!! (Especially helpful when/if you are going there for Philly Gay Bingo nights!. Plan ahead to find the parking lot out back or you might circle the block several times before finally figuring out where you need to turn.) Beautiful, stunning Moorish style architecture & interior!
