This establishment is very welcoming to others, regardless of their beliefs and world views. The Jewish Sunday school has been a fun and educational experience for my daughter. Full disclosure, the cost is $125 per month but it’s worth it as the kids are receiving a significant learning experience. Well staffed, highly organized, and parent friendly establishment.

We enrolled our 7 year old daughter in religious school in the fall of 2019 and subsequently joined the Girl Scouts that are held at Temple as well. My daughter loves girls scouts and has embraced the Jewish lessons and songs. She is making good friends there and feels a sense of belonging.
I appreciate that the temple is so welcoming of interfaith families. Furthermore the rabbi is about the warmest person one could ever hope to meet, and everybody there is friendly and helpful.
To the reviewer that said no one said a word to her, do try again during a Saturday service. If you initiate conversation you’ll likely be met with a friendly response.

We are new to the area and were looking for a place to call home. We were very excited as we had heard many great things about Temple Emmanuel so we decided to purchase High Holy tickets to get a feel for what we might expect. We went to the services. The Rabbi did a wonderful job. Here's what turned us off to and made us decide not to pursue a membership with them. Not one person in ALL of the High Holiday services we attended, not one single person had the common decency to utter a simple hello. What a disappointment.

The staff there are very accommodating and the programs made available are numerous and well done. Their services frequently includes musicians too which is nice touch too.

I've been a member of Temple Emanuel for 34 years. I go to services every Friday night. Temple Emanuel is a friendly welcoming Temple that makes you feel that your family and you belong here.
