About 5 years ago my mother lost our rent so we had no where else to turn and I called 311 to see if they could assist me with finding a place and they told me about the Jewish foundation and they helped me with the rent that was missing I went on Peterson and Devon but they will help you if it's needed I think they help you every 6months to a year you can't go back to back and people please be truthful with them and you'll go along way by being truthful. I find it very difficult to have to write that the inability to reach a person and talk to someone about a donation is a turnoff.
