Words cannot express how beautiful this synagogue is, in every sense of the word. The architecture and stained glass in the sanctuary is incredibly beautiful and unlike anything I've seen in any other synagogue. The services are inclusive and well executed, the sermons are inspirational and the clergy are amazingly down to earth. The entire congregation are made up of incredibly kind, caring, friendly people who made us feel instantly welcome.

Still one of the best synagogues in NYC. Great music, nice vibe, lefty politics

Just attended the live stream morning services with my partner who isn’t Jewish. We both were blown away at how beautiful this whole service was. What an absolute treasure to have something like this available online. I hope to be able to visit in person sometime soon to experience this beauty and power in person. I have never experienced such an awesome combination of people leading services.

This synagogue has a wonderful free lunch every Thursday of the year at exactly 12:00 noon p.m. It is delicious food. The ladies who serve you are lovely and professional... I assumed you had to be 55 years of age and above, but not true. It is just a wonderful beneficial lunch for anyone who needs a free lunch on Thursdays. I recommend it highly.

conservative , traditional shul but unaffiliated with USCJ-
I wish I lived nearby
accommodates observant , halachic Jews but also those of all stripes . Beautiful ambience and physical plant.
Great music including instruments on Shabbat. Shows a willingness to interpret Talmud/halacha with intelligence .
Active with kids and families etc.
Also focuses on the unaffiliated, 20-30 somethings who flock here on Friday night.
This is where traditional, halachic Judaism should reside in the 21st century.
