I met with Rabbi Schienberg upon a request to speak with him. It was a very informative meeting. We are not congregants at Rofei Sholom. Just wanted to speak to the Rabbi. I suppose for an Orthodox Ashkenazi of the Diaspora it's a place you might consider.

Rodfei Shalom is a family for all jewish kind everywhere.
Security is a priority here, and the people are friendly and willing to always give a hand.
There's something for everyone here.
Classes for those whom never learned a thing in their life, up to a strong and vibrant kolel that learns every day.
Going here for over half a year has been one of the most eye opening and character building experiences i have ever experienced, and would recommend getting in touch. For even if you cant come, Rodfei Shalom will send someone to you.
There is no personal agenda's here or discrimination. Just a bunch of people who want to enrich and better people's lives.
Again there is something here and someone here for everyone.

Welcoming congregation. Great security. If you are coming to visit, you may need to wait for someone to let you in. I feel totally safe there. Sunday morning they have a breakfast after Davening.

my daughter and son and law were on vacation in SA and went to Shabbat morning services. the rabbi was nice but, strangely, several members came up to them and asked them why they were there, if they were Jewish… not a warm, fuzzy feeling.
