Been there twice before & visiting again this weekend for Rabbi Federow’s retirement. Both prior experiences were welcoming & meaningful. If I lived in Houston this is where I would probably be a member.

It's a nice enough little Shul, as far as conservative goes, warm and friendly, really leans more reform, be prepared to receive anti-missionary talks. It appears to be connected to a community and perhaps an Eruv maybe? Good security!

This is my comfort place. I've been a member for 40+ years. There are religious and social gatherings here.

It is a wonderful place, the Rabbi and all the people are very hospitable, they help you and welcome you with open arms. I am happy to have found them and my family and I want to be active members of this Jewish community.

I've been a member of Congregation Shaar Hashalom for almost 40 years. Those have been years of spiritual, social and educational growth for me and my family. Here's to the next 40!
